How long will it take for my website to appear in the main search engines?
There is not an exact time period for websites to start appearing in Search Engine results. It could vary from a couple of days to a month, and some website owners report even longer times. However, there are certain actions you can take in order to make your site more friendly to search engines focusing on its content and the technical aspects, which are exactly what we will guide you through when you use FastDomain SEO Tools.
How do I set up my keywords? Do I have any help from you to select the correct keywords for my business / site?
You can easily set up your keywords by using the KEYWORDS configuration tool. On the upper right side of the tool, you can find the link to start.
Insert a keyword in the search field on the left. By clicking on Search, you will get some recommendations about other related keywords that can also be used as an alternative
Can I change the keywords I set at the beginning?
Yes, you can change your keywords whenever you want from the top bar —> Settings Menu—> Manage Keywords. We recommend doing this once you have finished optimizing a keyword on the selected target page.
How many keywords am I allowed to add?
If you have chosen the Start package, you can add 1 Keyword and up to 15 keywords if your choice is the Pro package.
How effective is your service to help us with SEO and gain more hits for our website

How is my score calculated?
Your score is determined by a proprietary algorithm which calculates your site’s performance on a number of factors, which are each weighted differently, including popularity, number of visitors, how mobile friendly it is, etc.
I have the Pro package. Do I need to wait for 24 hours to see if I have correctly implemented the tasks?
No, you can check it immediately by clicking the Done! Check it now button of each task.
I would like to optimize my web for 2 countries. Can I do this under the same account?
No, you need two packages/product, one for each country. The reason is because to get rankings, suggestions etc… that the tool provides, you have to target a specific market/country.
I don’t know who my competitors are. What happens then?
Don´t worry about this, the tool gives you competitor suggestions. You have to click on the right top corner of the tool Settings —> Edit Competitors to find suggestions. We strongly suggest to add at least one competitor to track your performance compared to the competitor.
Why does a dash ‘-’ appear next to keywords I select, under “Volume”?
This may be because the search volume is too low for us to gather accurate data on that keyword. Be sure to try keyword phrases with 3 to 4 words e.g. “home builders in Austin”, and check the ‘Keywords we have found for you’ tab for keywords which will be easier to improve your ranking on.
What kind of Customer Support do I receive?
You will receive dedicated customer support. Whether you have a simple question about an SEO concept or the tool, or you need help selecting keywords, we are here to help!
Do FastDomain SEO Tools make the changes on my site for me?
FastDomain SEO Tools is a Do-it-Yourself tool, so while it helps you with analysing your site and giving recommendations, tasks and instructions for you to optimise your site, it doesn’t make these changes for you.
Will my Competitors know that I'm "spying" on them?
No way! Only you know who you’re tracking.

Ask us as many questions as you’d like! SEO might seem like a puzzle but it makes perfect sense as you learn and optimise your site. We do our best to explain anything that sounds technical within the tool, but our customer support reps are more than happy to further explain anything you don’t understand.
I don’t have time for SEO! How long will this take me every day?
We recommend for you to take care of your SEO at least on a weekly basis. It takes some time at first to get acquainted with certain concepts but it is doable and our tool was created for users who are not tech savvy.
I signed up with my e-mail address but now I would like to change it, how do I do this?
The user’s e-mail can’t be changed because it is the basic requirement associated with each user account. In this case, contact Websplanet support - they will guide you through you creating a new account for the new e-mail and the same domain. We may transfer the domain metrics but not progress in the tool.
I want to change the domain I am optimising, how do I do this?
Every subscription is based on a certain domain and can't be changed for a new domain. This is because historical data and progress is no longer valid for the new domain, as the new website will have different backlinks, different social KPIs and different keyword rankings. This is not our policy, it's Google and every search engine's! As they crawl every website, they will count your website with a new domain as a new page. What you need to do is to cancel the old subscription and create a new one with the new domain. Don't worry about what you have already paid, it won't mean any extra cost for you. We'll do it internally. And if you are concerned that your progress is going to be lost, it won't be like that. Say you have optimized a page for a given keyword, well if this remains the same our crawler won't open again that certain task.
