FastDomain Web Hosting Help
Script Cannot Make Outbound Connection
Our shared IP addresses only allow outbound connection on ports 80(http), 443(https). If you need to use a port other than these, you would need to purchase a dedicated IP. A dedicated IP address is $3.99 (prorated to the end of your hosting subscription). For more information about the benefits of a dedicated IP and why FastDomain restricts port access, please visit this article: Why does FastDomain restrict outgoing port access?
If you would like to purchase the dedicated IP, please log into the cPanel of your hosting account and click the Domain Manager icon. Press the Dedicated IP tab and follow the wizard's guide to purchase.
To discourage spam from our servers, we do not allow outbound connections to ports 25 and 465 with or without a dedicated IP.
